Civic Voices becomes part of The Hague Institute of Innovation of Law

Civic Voices joined The Hague Institute of Innovation of Law (HiiL) in August of this year. Selected among many justice startups across the nation, Civic Voices is among the startups that are to take lead in the justice innovation movement in Kenya, facilitated through the Justice Entrepreneurship school.

The Hague Institute for Innovation of Law is committed to people-cantered justice - justice that is affordable, accessible and easy to understand. The institute puts people and outcomes they need at the centre in the quest for justice, not institutions and existing procedures. It aims that, by 2030, 150 million people will be able to prevent or resolve their most pressing justice problems. The strategy applied is by stimulating innovation and scaling what works best, based on data and evidence. HiiL is based at The Hague in Netherlands.
